Bill Torvund Shares Concerns over Maintaining the Health of the Planet

Humanity has faced perils throughout history and seems to be standing at a crossroads again.

Minneapolis, MN - June 13, 2018 /MarketersMedia/ —

People have always considered themselves one with nature, never forgetting their roots, yet easily making poor choices harming their surroundings for own personal gains. With all the socio-economic, demographic, and environmental challenges facing the world today, there is a tendency to accentuate doom-and-gloom scenarios, but homosapiens have proven to be a resilient species by virtue of its willingness to embrace the spiritual and pursue enlightenment.

Humanity has faced perils throughout history and seems to be standing at a crossroads again, brought to this point by complacency and a casual attitude to inner growth. Now, perhaps more than ever, the survival of the human race may be contingent upon raising the frequency of our consciousness and re-focusing on spiritual evolution at this time of transition, says Bill Torvund, the renowned spiritual healer and the founder of religious non-profit organization The Sanctuary of the On.

When applied to consciousness, the term “frequency” is used to describe its evolution. The higher the vibration, the greater the level of enlightenment, with ultimate consciousness and Divine Love standing at the top of the pyramid. All the major cataclysms in human history were the result of destructive patterns where human consciousness was out of alignment with the Divine Plan of Creation. Higher evolution moves in cyclical patterns, and people need to be attuned to them, especially in this modern age dominated by a materialistic mindset, derivative teachings, and temporal obsessions, Bill Torvund notes. “The primary directive given by the ascended masters and spiritual teachers of the various dimensions seems to be that the human race must again center itself into the Source consciousness of Divine Love,” he once told Edge Magazine. People need to discard temporal distractions and involve themselves in their inner spiritual growth, seeking attunement to higher knowledge within.

Recognizing the urgency of the matter, Bill Torvund agreed to co-lead a 2015 symposium headlined “Survival: The Need to Raise the Frequency of Our Consciousness Now.” His presentation focused on the dynamics of attunement to the interdimensional transformation of the 19th Mayan Baktu’n Cycle that started on December 21, 2012 and will run until December 16, 2247. The other speaker was Dr. James Ulness, professor emeritus in psychology at Concordia College in Moorhead, who noted: “Grassroots humanity needs a clear vision. The first step toward clear vision is the overcoming of fear and anxiety, which seems to have been deliberately induced. In addition, we need to raise our consciousness. Is this possible? Absolutely, it is.”

Bill Torvund was born in 1951 in Great Falls, Montana. His spiritual journey began when he was only three, and within a year he had become aware of the healing gifts bestowed upon him. Devoting his life to the church in 1962, he began studying the classical sacred languages and traditions. His first public healing service was conducted in 1970, and ten years later The Sanctuary of the On came into existence. Through his religious non-profit organization, the spiritual teacher and healer has touched the lives of millions around the world, using his gifts on people in North America, South America, Europe, Scandinavia, and Asia. Bill Torvund now runs one of the largest spiritual healing practices in the United States and continues to share his knowledge and skills through tours, workshops, and lectures.

New Delhi orders construction halt as pollution levels soar

Jun 21, 2018

NEW DELHI — New Delhi officials have ordered a two-day halt to construction in an attempt to reduce choking pollution that has cloaked the city in smog and dust. The government's Central Pollution Control Board rated the city's air quality Friday as "severe" — the worst possible category — for the fourth day in a row. New Delhi's level of PM2.5, tiny particulate matter that can dangerously clog lungs, exceeded 170 Friday morning, more than six times higher than the World Health Organization considers safe. The order to halt construction, which was issued Thursday night, came amid days of winds...

Rumors spread on social media fuel deadly India mob attacks

Jun 21, 2018

GAUHATI, India — The rumors circulated through the hills of northeastern India on Facebook and Whatsapp. There were photos of dismembered corpses in some messages, and of an injured child lying in the street. The messages said hundreds of people, sometimes disguised as beggars, were stalking the towns and villages of India's Assam state, slipping into houses at night. One message said the outsiders were criminals. Another said they'd come from the poor, nearby state of Bihar. All said the gangs had one goal: kidnapping children. "Be aware, people of Assam!" one message read. There was no truth to the...

Iran, spurned by US, angrily watches Trump-North Korea talks

Jun 21, 2018

TEHRAN, Iran — For Iran, the so-called "Axis of Evil" has boiled down to a party of one, as President Donald Trump prepares for direct talks with North Korea. With Saddam Hussein overthrown and Kim Jong Un now preparing for a planned meeting in Singapore with Trump, Iran remains the last renegade among former President George W. Bush's grouping of nations opposed to the U.S. For those in Tehran, whether hard-liners, reformists or people simply trying to get by in Iran's worsening economy, it's head-spinning, especially after seeing Trump pull America out of the nuclear deal with world powers. "I...

UN: Plastic bans can work, but need planning and enforcement

Jun 21, 2018

NEW DELHI — Government bans on plastic can be effective in cutting back on waste, but poor follow-through has left many such bans ineffective, the U.N. said in a report Tuesday. The report, with its release timed for U.N. World Environment Day, noted that rules limiting the use of plastic bags had decreased their use in places such as Morocco, Rwanda and parts of China, sometimes significantly. But elsewhere things haven't gone so well. A ban on disposable plastics in New Delhi, for instance, has had only limited impact "because of poor enforcement," the report said. New Delhi has tried...

In India, a trio of unlikely heroes wages war on plastic

Jun 21, 2018

NEW DELHI — For more than 25 years, Ram Nath has lived on the banks of the Yamuna River under a 19th-century iron bridge. Each morning, the wiry man walks a few steps from his makeshift hut and enters the black, sludgy waters of one of India's most polluted rivers. He is fishing for trash. "This is the only work we have," said the 40-year-old, sorting through a pile of plastic bottles, bags, and cast-off electronics. Hundreds of garbage collectors live on the Yamuna's banks in New Delhi, making $2 to $4 per day recycling plastic waste collected from the...
