The United Arab Emirates launched an investigation into the incident aboard a Flydubai flight that was forced to divert to Saudi Arabia after an attack in the cockpit. Flydubai flight FZ1073, travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv, landed safely at Tabuk Airport on Wednesday after an altercation in the flight deck. The aircraft was carrying 174 passengers, including 27 children.Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar was seriously injured after he was attacked by his co-pilot, who is believed to be an Omani national.
