Celebration of Life Songs Launches Personalized Memorial Music for US Families

Celebration of Life Songs launches personalized memorial music for U.S. families, turning real memories and personal stories into original songs as demand grows for more individualized funeral and celebration of life experiences.

New York, United States, September 21, 2026 /PressCable/ -- When families plan a funeral or celebration of life, finding a way to capture who someone truly was can be one of the hardest parts. Celebration of Life Songs, created by Zena Carina, offers a personalized memorial music service that turns real memories, stories, and personal details into an original song written specifically about the person being remembered.

The launch comes as more families move away from standardized memorial services. According to the National Funeral Directors Association's 2026 Consumer Awareness and Preferences Study, American families are increasingly seeking services that authentically reflect a loved one's unique life, with interest in non-traditional venues growing significantly: 30.3% of families now choose banquet halls, 18.3% opt for outdoor settings, and 10.2% hold home funerals rather than traditional cemetery services.

Families provide details that capture the individuality of the person they have lost, from favorite sayings and everyday habits to meaningful stories, relationships and shared moments. These memories provide the foundation for a personalized memorial song that can be played during a funeral, memorial service, or celebration of life.

"People often remember the smallest things most clearly: a phrase someone always used, the music they loved, something they did every Sunday or the way they made people feel," said Zena Carina, creator of Celebration of Life Songs. "The idea is to bring those real memories into the song so it feels unmistakably connected to the person being remembered."

Families can submit straightforward notes rather than writing a formal biography. The completed personalized funeral song is provided as downloadable audio with lyrics, allowing it to remain with the family after the service.

Celebration of Life Songs also creates a private online memorial page combining the song with photographs, lyrics, and written memories. Families can share the page directly with relatives and friends or with a funeral celebrant or officiant involved in planning the service. Additional memorial music is provided for different stages of the ceremony, giving families options for incorporating music throughout the service.

As personalization becomes increasingly important in memorial planning, Celebration of Life Songs provides families with a way to preserve distinctive memories through music created specifically around one person's life.
