Intumescent fire retardant paints swell up when heated, thus protecting the covered surface in case of a fire. A wide range of materials can be treated with high-quality intumescent coatings, including timber, plastic and aluminum, making them ideal for a wide range of residential and commercial applications.

Envirograf provides a comprehensive range of intumescent paint and varnishes for wood, PVC, steel and aluminum, as well as other fire containment products.

A spokesperson for the company said: “While many people are aware of the importance of fire barriers in preventing or delaying the spread of fire, they do not always consider the effects of breaching the fire barrier, perhaps to allow electrical wires or other services to pass through. That is why a range of Envirograf® intumescent products has been designed, to safeguard the integrity of fire barriers, whether they are ceilings, floors, roofs, or walls.”

The Envirograf intumescent paint for wood offers up to 60 minute of fire protection and can be applied to doors, window frames, furniture and other items made of wood. The paint can be easily applied by brush, roller or spray.

For clients interested in a fire protection solution for nylon or plastic products, Envirograf offers the 3-2-1/Special spray. The clear, odorless spray prevents rapid fire spreading on some of the most flammable materials, including plastic, nylon and other synthetics.

Other available products include fire protection coatings for steel and metal, intumescent cable wraps, and many more.

With the recent update, Envirograf continues to diversify its range of fire protection products and technologies for commercial, residential and industrial applications.
