Eric Colquhoun, an illustrator and portrait artist based in Toronto, Ontario, announced that his works are now available for sale on Etsy. His online store stocks both original designs and custom commission portraits.

More details are available at https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/Ericcolquhoun

The recent launch was born from Eric’s desire to connect further with his local community in Toronto by creating and selling locally inspired works and taking commissions from people throughout Ontario.

Now available for purchase online is a combination of hand drawn and digital designs. All of the artworks currently retailing on the site feature incredibly intricate and detailed sketching, predominantly crafted in black and white.

Interested buyers can also choose from a range of Colquhoun’s portraits of iconic figures like poet Walt Whitman or baseball star Leroy ‘Satchell’ Paige in a style which is both realistic and impressionistic.

Additionally, through Colquhoun’s commission work, buyers have the opportunity to order a custom pet portrait of their favorite furry friend. These charcoal pet portraits are typically drawn and shipped within 1-2 weeks and customers can negotiate both style and size at the time of purchase.

Interested buyers can get a greater sense of his unique and dynamic style of illustration on his Instagram page at https://www.instagram.com/ericcolquhounart

In addition to the launch of his Etsy store, Colquhoun continues to serve the Toronto, Kitchener, Kingston, Thunder Bay and Barrie regions within Ontario as a freelance and independent illustrator.

With more than 30 years of experience in illustration, portraits and graphic design, Eric Colquhoun currently renders his services for a range of graphic design houses, other agencies and independent contractors, creating websites, book covers, comics, works for children, brand merchandising and more.

One happy reviewer from the new Etsy store, who recently purchased a black and white portrait of the legendary boxer Joe Louis, said “Stunning pencil work. The detail in the illustration is awe-inspiring. Wonderful, original art from a highly skilled illustrator portraying people of influence from sport, music, literature and history. Highly recommended. Superb customer service as well.”
